How and where can smoothing threads be applied?
Smoothing threads can be applied to the entire face (including sensitive areas) to tighten and lift the skin, such as the forehead, neck, jawline, chin, eyebrows, or eyelids. They are also excellent for diminishing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, crow’s feet, frown lines, and acne scars.
What is neocollagenesis and why is it important?
Collagen provides tension, strength, and firmness to the skin. By the time we reach our 30s, the body’s ability to produce collagen diminishes, and the density of our existing collagen continuously decreases, causing sagging and wrinkling.
Neocollagenesis, a component of our natural wound repair process, stimulates specific collagen-creating skin cells (called “fibroblasts”) to produce new collagen. Therefore, neocollagenesis is the key to reversing signs of aging and scarring on the skin’s surface.
How do smoothing threads work?
Smoothing threads are applied to the skin and are completely absorbed within 180 days of implantation, causing minimal skin tissue reaction.
